Talk2theAnimalsRadio Intuition Expert Rob Ragozzine is our guest blogger and has created this fun game to help develop your intuition. Rob empowers people by helping them connect to their own intuitive wisdom. He says “We’re all intuitive, but we might not be able to understand the language our intuition speaks. Rather than words, our intuition often communicates via symbol and metaphor. As people begin to understand this, they can begin working with their own dreams and other helpful tools such as Numerology and Tarot”. Be sure to tune into Tuesday’s episode of Talk2theAnimalsRadio when Rob will be talking more about intuition and the color yellow, as well as fear around using our intuition.
To play this Intuition Game, be sure to scroll down to the Rafflecopter entry and follow the directions there. One randomly chosen winner will win a mini Numerology reading from Rob!
In this exploration we’re working with color. Keep a journal about your thoughts on colors. People ask me about dreams they’ve had and one of the first questions I ask is, “What colors appeared in your dream?”
Many issues add to the meaning behind colors in our lives. Our family of origin and our cultural upbringing will affect our feelings on particular colors. For instance, white is used for weddings and celebrations in some cultures, but is also used in other cultures as the dominant funerary color. If you had a dream where white was a prominent color, how would you feel? Your feelings would likely be based on your upbringing, but you might not be conscious of this.
For this exploration we are connecting with the color yellow. What are your associations to it? Notice feelings, sensations and memories that arise when you see it.
For myself, one of my powerful associations around this color involves wiffle ball. As a child, I remember playing countless hours playing ball with the slightly heavy yellow plastic bat in my back yard or at picnics and especially family gatherings. It was always there. We played in the backyard, on the beach, in the pool and in the park. I wasn’t athletic, but the game was enjoyed by my family and was a big part of my spring and summer as I was growing up.
When I see yellow, these memories are always in the back of my mind. These recollections may not always consciously come up, but there are strong ties to them. Recognizing the connections, I can use the information to better understand my dreams, tarot card readings or life events where yellow appears. For instance, I could look at a dream that featured yellow and explore how it relates to family and social issues in my life.
As you begin to intuitively explore this color, you can pay special attention to dreams, movies, television and events where yellow appears prominently. Notice and record all of your sensations. There are no wrong answers. Simply record whatever comes up for you.
What are your memories, thoughts, feelings and emotions around Yellow?.
We will talk more about this on Tuesday’s episode of Talk2theAnimalsRadio.
