“My job as a holistic veterinarian is to increase peace and understanding between all our relations, all the different beings on this planet.”

I’d like to start a revolution and call it Fearless Medicine.

Our entire medical system is based on fear. We’re afraid of germs, bugs, diseases, the toilet seat, touching other people, touching our pets, parasites, cancer, and death.

This is genius. This is marketing. And we buy it. If there’s a vaccine that might prevent it or a drug that might treat it, we’ll take it, whatever the cost. The alternative is unthinkable. Why, we might get dirty, sick, debilitated, or, God forbid, have less-than-white teeth.

My concern is that this is driving us into greater division with the planet who supports us. And not only us, but our pets, the grass, the trees, and all the other animals and beings who were here before us and will be here long after we are gone. My job as a holistic veterinarian is to increase peace and understanding between all our relations, all the different beings on this planet. We are all in this together. If we come together instead of living in fear of each other, the odds of survival are better.

In my holistic veterinarian practice, I use homeopathic remedies, spinal manipulation, Reiki, diet, and nutrition to introduce people to the safer side of medicine, the cooperative side of medicine, where we can participate in healing with the planet and her citizens rather than use antagonistic methods which poison and destroy. There are ways that we can work with nature rather than rail against her, and these ways make our lives more peaceful.
